Standing Rules
First Standing Rules submitted to membership and adopted Oct. 14, 1999
- Only members in good standing may address the Chapter on matters of policy.
- The International Good Sam Club's Constitution and By-Laws supersedes this
Chapter's Constitution and By-Laws at all times.
- Members should be agreeable with Christian teaching and prayer.
- There is to be no use of tobacco, alcoholic beverages, or foul language used in
any of our meetings or campout gatherings.
- In the event of the loss of a member's spouse, or if one of the spouses becomes
physically unable to participate in Chapter activities with no good indication
of recovery, and if they wish to continue their membership in the National Good Sam
Club, the term "associate" may be used. A fee of $1.00 per person
annually will be assessed to be used by the local Chapter only. An Associate
will not have any vote in the local Chapter, State or National Club.
- No member can commit the Time to Travel Chapter to any expenditure or project
without prior approval of the membership.
- A project Committee is to be set up annually to recommend projects for the
Chapter to vote on.
- Our chapter campouts will be normally on the week of the second thursday of
each camping month, weather permitting, and in the winter we meet for potlucks,
lunch or activities on the second thursday. On the 4th Thursday we meet for
breakfast or dinner and a Chapter Meeting.
- Dues are collected annually, due and payable at the annual meeting and
delinquent on December 1st. Dues shall be evaluated each September and adjusted,
if necessary, by no more than a $5.00 increment each year.
